Chapter One

I am excited to announce that I have made the resolution to start/increase my social media presence. Introducing…

ABCs for XYZs Financial planning basics for Generations X, Y, & Z.

My purpose for creating this blog is simple – as a member of the XYZs, I understand the unique opportunities and challenges we face around financial planning because I am experiencing them firsthand.

Furthermore, in my role as a financial advisor, I meet countless peers who are seeking education on how to decipher financial jargon and create strategies to achieve their goals. I want to remove intimidation from financial planning and replace it with understanding and inspiration.

Ground rules

You can expect regularly posted content, seeking to be equal parts insightful, helpful, entertaining and actionable. My heartfelt purpose is to share my knowledge and motivate you to act.

I also promise to deliver bite-sized blogs, delivering my message in 400 words OR LESS.

The significance

It takes the average person approximately 2 minutes to read 400 words. Personally, I don’t enjoy reading long blog posts, new articles, or emails. I am constantly short on two valuable resources: time and attention.

As a result, I am focused on creating content that is easy to read, understand and implement.

How to calculate estimated reading time
Divide the total number of words by 200

Coming up next…

Over the next few weeks I am going to introduce and dive into “Back to Basics,” a resource I developed to help Generations X, Y, & Z get their finances on track.
